Symptoms: ataxia, discomfort, asymmetry of the pelvic limbs at about 6 months of age with progression over 1 to 2 years of age 

Cause: genetic predisposition (Ataxia of Jack Russel and Smooth-haired Fox Terriers).

First aid: resting, pain relief’s

 Treatment: none

Therapy success: low due to the spinal cord demyelization

Convalescence: none – usually results with death
